Yolanda / Haiyan

Once again, The Philippines faced another devastating typhoon, but this time "it is the strongest typhoon of 2013", scientist says.

Month(s) ago, The Philippines experienced a 7.8 something magnitude of earthquake which cost the lives and the shelter of the Filipinos. This happened in Bohol, (Visayas) central Philippines. Most of the historical churches from the Spanish era were destroyed, around 200 - 400 years old.
Now, they're facing a greater one. This typhoon named Yolanda (local name) or Haiyan (international name) passed by the Philippine Island and is coming towards Vietnam, costing 10,000 lives in the central Philippines (Visayas), most especially from Tacloban City, millions were injured, hundred and thousands were displaced by the typhoon.
Now, another storm is coming named Zoraida, and it's heading towards mostly on Mindanao (my hometown included) and Visayas (again) in signal number 1 status.
Another news is that Bohol just had an aftershock with a 4.7 magnitude and there would probably be more than that.

This little country is still going to face more Typhoons (13 typhoons/year, this is true. the 2nd to the last is usually the stronger one), more disasters, more death tolls and injured people, but they were able to stand up with firm despite the horrible circumstances they faced. I wanna ask for more prayers for the families who lost their loved ones, for the hungry and homeless citizens.

I also want to say, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank so much for the donations, for the prayers, encouragement, and for the help and support. I don't know what to say but thank you for helping my people. Mabuhay po kayo and God Bless you. God Bless the Philippines.
